8 years of ♥

March 29, 2004 was the day when me and my then boyfriend officially became a couple just a couple of days after we met. Since then we never parted ways. Our relationship is not perfect and will never be perfect but that's how it's supposed to be. We negate each other most of the time. We also piss each other off. We fight and we scream at each other. But at the end of it all, it's our unconditional love that made us stronger. I am not perfect and so is my husband, but we have accepted each other for who we are with no pretensions, at all. I love him with all my heart and I know that we have all the time in the world to spend with each other and to know each other more.

March 29, 2012 we celebrated our 8 years of togetherness. Even though I am not feeling well, everything still went well as planned. We went to a spa in Mandaluyong for a relaxing massage (by the way, I am a die-hard massage-addict). Whenever I feel sick or sad I will just send a text message for a home service massage. But after our experience at Nuat Thai (the one located in Shaw) it felt like we have never ever been massaged before. That's how good it is. Their whole body massage with healing stones is to die for! Even my husband loved it. We are now planning to go back there every payday to have our regular massage. Afterwards, we went to McKinley for an early dinner. We ate at the Sweet Pea restaurant. The food was OK but our order took a long time before it was served to us. We ordered their Bacon and Corn soup and Crispy Buffalo Wings as our starters. I had their BBQ Baby Back ribs while my husband's choice was the Crispy Fish Fillet Pizza Ola. Their serving is big and it is also not that expensive. Lastly, we watched The Hunger Games in Market Market and we both loved it. It is definitely worth watching! This day was a blast. But what made it more special is going back home and seeing our son's smile on his face. He hugged and kissed us as if he hasn't seen us for a long time. I will make sure to spend more quality time with my family from now on. Priceless.
